I believe it...

I always wore mine. Mostly for bug protection.
I splattered some interesting things on my faceshield.

One time I hit a bumblebee that snapped my head back.
It would have taken my eye out for sure.
I hit something w that exploded and was big enough to cover my whole faceshield,
I had to flip it up and pull over to clean it off
A butterfly in your grill, and your car's grill are two totally different things.

Reminds me of a joke:
How can you spot the happy biker?
He's the one with the bugs in his teeth...

I don't wear the same suit MotoGP racers wear while crashing on a daily basis because it keeps me cool in hundred degree heat. Several people have crashed at over 200 and walked away in motogp and there hasn't been a fatality in motogp since 2003 and before that 1989.The reasoning behind the helmet breaking necks is stupid. IF u go head first into something and your head absorbs the impact of course there will be less neck injuries because your head disipated the energy as your skull crumbled, frontal lobe was smashed and your now lying dead with no head in the middle of the road. With a helmet you smash head first into something of course your heads gonna move around as unlike your skull a helmet won't disintergrate shedding momentum as chunks of brain tissue splatter the pavement.YOur head retains enough weight by not being smashed like a watermelon where the base of your neck is the fulcrum and you injure your neck. A better chance of living witha head intact and a bit of whiplash then your brain splattered for 20 yards on concrete.

Or it very well may have been a liter. With the passenger on the rear and the rider in 2nd gear it'll loop at 80-120 mph if he keeps whacking the throttle open instead of bein real smooth.

ORIGINAL: p1zl3

Why are people in that position (2 dudes, 1 bike) drawing extra attention to themselves? I had to give my buddy a ride to work on my cruiser one time and we took back streets... noone saw us and the reputaion remained in tact!
until now lol
