I might have slowed to 75 after seeing it.
Coming back late the other night.
Stupid me thinking I was in my jeep tried to straddle it.
Swerving at that speed might have been risky though especially while braking.
Could have been worse if it had gotten under my tire


Only damage seems to be cracked underbody panel.

Lucky you got out cheap. Ever see what a raccoon does to a front end? Might as well have hit a cinder block. Not that it happened to me, just sayin....

Yea , I think I'm fortunate. I think in the split second before its demise, i noticed it laying down , ya know like how they play dead? So that may have lessened the blow,,,, for me not him lol. Now he's playing dead forever.

 

And if you are a glass half full kind of guy which I am trying hard to be at this stage of life, I would say thank God it wasn't a deer, because a deer running out in front of me and playing dead in the middle of the road would suck!
