Default Some strange issues

I have had my TT for a little over two months now. So far I like the car alot. My issues....
1. when it has been cold out side the temp warning will go off indicating the car is over heating or the fluid is low. Fluid is def. not low and it is 30 degrees outside. hmmmm
2. this has happened twice now...second time was today. When braking the temp gauge drops to zero and the oil pressure warning comes on. They have both corrected theirselves in seconds at the exact same time. (there is plenty of oil)
3. occasionally in the morning when starting the car I hear briefly a whining sound that goes away and does not come back. Maybe the power steering? it is random as well.
Any help guys?

That's normal...secondary air pump, should run shortly when cold starting.

Not sure about the other two issues

I am starting to think the other issues are all having to do with the temp sensor. I am sure it is the black one.

i have the oil temp needle drop and oil pressure on the little screen problem. my oil levels are fine.

i jus figured eh, germans can engineer one hell of an engine but can't work electrical componentsworth sht.

the squeel at startup (if its only a quick second or two) is your starter slow to disengage.

check the codes to see if there are any "intermittent faults". i think you will find a faulty coolant temp sensor. this sensor is tied into a few other sytems and can possibly cause problems.

Ray that is what I have been thinking. It seems that what electrical problems I have had have all been somewhat temperature based. the gauge dropping off, the temp warning on cold mornings, the hard starts sometimes (until I let the car tell me it was OK then I have not had anymore issues) Does this sound right to you?

sounds possible, you should really have the codes run and look for those intermittents. they are there and they dont throw cels.

I read this yesterday and then pretty much the same thing happened to me this morning. It was around freezing when I went out and got in my car and when I started it, the temp warning came on. I went ahead and drove it and the warning went off after like 3 minutes. I just got the coolant sensor replace about a month ago, is that the same thing as the temp sensor mentioned above?
