Default Sorry guys,but....................

I am not too mechanically inclined when it comes to cars, but I loved the TT from the first time I saw one. I finally got a shot at owning one and took it. For those of you who would get annoyed at this post, sorry ,I'm just looking to those with the knowledge and patience for help. Anyway,so far it's been great but yesterday while I was on my way home from running errands,I felt cool air coming from my vents. I turned up my climate control to 75, and it warmed up a very small amount to luke warm,so I just came straight home to look at some threads.Alot of them were stating that their guage would be erratic, from sitting at the center line to 2 clicks above cold. Mine was sitting at dead center. My question is, is it OK to drive this baby until I can get an appointment with the dealer? I am not too sure about independant mechanics who will work on my car here in Colorado Springs. I am always reading how difficult these vehicles can be to work on, so I don't want to just pick one out of the phone book. Can I take a chance and still drive her? By the way, it is a 2001 225 Quattro coupe. Any advise would be greatly appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Climate control and the coolant system are really only related by the heater core, which uses engine coolant to warm the air going into the car. If your coolant gauge is reading normal, I doubt you have anything to worry about.
Did you have the vent selected that you were feeling the cool air from? If its on auto, most of your air is routed to the floor and windshield, you might have just been feeling a bit of fresh air entering the cabin.

I've never had any problems with the temp inside unitl yesterday. I alwaysleave my temp control on 69 and it was fine until all of a sudden the cool air started blowing.

Sorry, yes I did have my dash vents chosen. I did try changing them but to no avail, it still blew cool air.
