Default Stock 6 Disk CD Changer.

I just purchased an 01 225 6 speed coupe, and...well... I can't find the CD changer. It is not in the glove box, and not in trunk. I think I covered all available options, here. So, please let me know where it is supposed to be so I can double check before I yell at the sales man tomorrow.

Thanks!

Its right behind you in the back seat. There is a little compartment where the armrest (if thats what you wanna call it) is.

Yep, and on the pass side, theres another compartment that should have a pretty nice roadside first aid kit, though, the instructions they include for doing anything more than applying a bandaid is in german, and pretty much useless ; )

Hahahaha dang I was on the same exact boat as you. I was gonna go yell at the sales guy too.

I could not find the changer anywhere in my roadster. Its in the same general position but within the bulkhead behind the seats. It was two days before I found it.

My friends thought I was a real dummy for buying the car without knowing where it was or if it had one in the first place.

All of you do yourselves a favor and get an aftermarket unit with a good equalizer in it. It will transform your stock system. Also, you probably get mp3 cd capability. How does 100 songs on one disc sound?

as with many in the bay area, i love my ipod and with a 2002, couldn't use it in the car. a buddy of mine at europeanautosource.com has a setup for audi & ipod integration. don't need the cd player any more. and the in-dash unit still works for the occasional need.

best thing i ever did. oh, just make sure to remove cds from the player before disconnecting the power to the thing.

The TT rides much too rough for a car PC. It would only last a few months.
