You're putting 25 mm spacers on all 4 corners?
What's the offset (ET) of the wheels you purchased?
Yes, except they are adapters. I bought the wheels used under the assumption that the bolt pattern was 5x100. Well when I went to put one on, it didnt fit... they are 5x112. So I bought the 1 inch adapters. Unfortunetely i'm unsure of what the offset is since I didnt buy new.

The ET should be stamped somewhere on the wheel.
Typically it's in the same area as the lug holes, but it's certainly not limited to that one location.

Just checked, the offset is 45. Do you think my setup will work?

Yep. Considering your FWD the rear is 8mm wider than quattro.
Your front will be a little over 4 mm inside the fender, and the rear will be a little over 2 mm inside the fender.
You'll actually be pretty damn close to flush, good job!
Can't wait to see some pictures once these are installed!

I'm running 15 mm front and 25 mm rear spacers with Neuspeed springs, Koni Shocks and a Neuspeed 28 mm adjustable rear sway bar. The springs, shocks and sway bar I picked up from MJM Autohaus as a package deal which was pretty much unbeatable. The car looks and handles much better as a result.

Default Advice on Vmaxx height wanted!

Hi.

I am thinking of getting Vmaxx for my Audi TT 1.8T 2000.
For those who have Vmaxx, what's the height you guys have it set up?
Please let me know for Front and Rear.
It's nice to lower, but I never want to scrape any part of the car against ground.

Thanks,

Ride height for one person may not work for another, all depends on the conditions of the road around where you live.

Probably safe to set it up with about 2 fingers of wheel gap. That is, if you poked 2 fingers into your wheel well, the bottom of your fingers would touch the top of the tire, and the top of your fingers would just touch the fender.

^im at about 1 1/2 fingers of space. A little more in the front than the back.
And yes, coilovers are really the only way to go. That's the only way you'll be able to dial in yor ride heigth exactly where you want it. I've done the spring/shock route, and I wasn't happy. Either save the money for coilovers, or find a nice used pair on vortex.

Default Fingers

Thanks for your replies guys.

Yes, I am sure it's different by cars setting and environment the height changes. Still, it would help me for my reference to know.
Could you possibly tell me how much more room you have for lowering spring setting (in inches or cm), rather than the gap between the top of tire and the fender?
Because I want to keep the adjustment as minimal as possible, and it would be easier this way.

Please see the attachment.

Thank you,

KennyK
