Default Suspension Upgrade?

Hey guys, what shocks and struts should I upgrade to from stock? I've been looking at Eibach and Bilstein and they look pretty good. Any other suggestions for under $1000?

For under $1000 you can upgrade your shocks and struts (koni FDS from tirerack), lowering springs(also from tirerack), a full rear kmac kit (TTstuff), front and rear sway bars (if ECS is still having that sale front and rear for 2 hundred and something)... and you might even be able to get it installed. Of course you'd save more if you did it yourself. Just don't forget to get an alignment once it's all installed.

Coilovers on the other hand are a different story.

just get a set of coilovers like vmaxx and make it simple. You only need a kmac kit if you are awd.
