Default Sway Bar Diameter

Hey Guys, I know someone knows this. I am replacing the sway bar bushings and need to order some new bushings and brackets. I have a 2000 1.8t quattro 180hp. Does anyone know the diameter of the bar? Thanks in advance!

Thats what I leaning towards. A local store has some 3/4" poly bushings which works out to be right around 19mm. I also heard that 19mm is the size, if its 20, do you think it would be to much of a stretch for thse 3/4"s?

only a diff of 1mm, so I doubt it'd be an issue. just may be very difficult to squeeze bushing bracket back in place so you can attach with the bolt.

here's link to my fotki with DIY...maybe it can help with the install.

cheers.
