Hey my car is in the shop today getting the stage 3+ kit put on and im wondering if it will be worth it to take my ko4 in to turbochargers.com and have them rebuild it with a port and polish job for each outlet of the turbo?
The company is based here in houston, texas and is literally 30 mins away from my house. this is the price the guys over there gave me on my turbo:
rebuild=$250
port & polish=$65(each port x2)
is there any gain of performance if this is done or will it be worth replacing an original ko4 with this one after this work has been done to it? im gonna sell it to you guys or to my friend so im just wondering if its worth having this work done to it.

I wouldnt worry about rebuilding the turbo unless it has some play in it. Also the turbo is to small for a port and polish job.
You know if you wanted, you could donate the old turbo setup to me and i can see if i can reach the 300whp make with a ko4-20

Im serious. The most i think i have seen is about 260whp and on a stock engine. Im sure with a 2.0 and built engine, i can break the 300whp mark. Im just scared to see what the tq reaches.

BTW, are you running any different software with the K03s? I wanted to swap my dinky K03 out when I do an exhaust.
