i cant seem to dig up a part # for a bosch universal 5 wire "wide band" o2 sensor. I can only pull up the 4 wire one. Autozone sold me the wrong part because they sold me the 4 wire. Took the old one off - its 5 wire.

 

like universal without the connector? all i can dig up is one for $146. heh.

 

Return it and tell them you have an 04 gti 1.8t. They also use the AWP engine and wbo2. This time make sure its a 5 wire before you leave

 

thanks cincy - i took it back and they had the OE 5 wire with the harness for 5 bucks more than i paid for the universal 4 wire.

 

so do allTTs have a WBo2 from the factory? will vagcom give a precise reading of AFRs since they have this?

 

180 01+ AWP and 225 03+ BEA engine codes have a wbo2 and yes, the a/f is correct with a vagcom

 

how do I find my engine code on my '03 225?

IT was a min, but i usually have both this and vortex open on my computer to go to when im bored or have a couple mins to spare.
