Hello. I am new to the forum. I recently bought a 2000 Audi TT 180hp fwd with 99,000 miles about two weeks ago. The price was low because it was believed to have a broken timing belt. When I took it apart, the belt was still on but unfortunately some of the teeth were missing so it had slipped. So then I decided to remove the head. Unfortunately the exhaust valves had slightly dinged the pistons and two valves broke off. The damage sounds allot worst then it actually is. Now I am in the process of replacing parts and came up with a few question.

1. The head looking fine, but I still want a machine shop to take a look at it to make sure. What type of work should I have them do and how much should I expect it all to cost? Does anyone have any recommendation for a machine shop near Charlotte, NC?
2. The timing chain looks like it is in good shape but should I replace it since it is easier to do now?
3. What is a good kit to buy when going to replace the timing belt; Diesel geek, ECS, pure motorsports, MJM?
4. Where is a good place to buy exhaust valves?
5. Are there any other parts that should be replace while I have it all torn apart?

I am new to this but I am trying to learn as much as I can so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Here are a few pictures.

Thanks,
Kevin
