Default TIMING BELT JOB FOR $440-- INSTALLED!

I'm getting more details soon -- there is a guy at a franchise called the "Volksshop" who will do the timing belt, water pump, tensioners for $440 installed! Material is included in that cost.

Don't say I don't love you guys... thats the best price I've ever seen for it.

Jacksonville, Florida is where this guy is located. They're supposedly all over the US, but call this one first, get him to quote you, then take that quote to another. Good luck!

Wonder what he'd do on the price If you brought the dieselgeek kit to him?

He'd probably not give as good a deal. If you don't let him sell you the kit... then he has to make up the money in labor. You'll usually almost always get better work at better prices if you throw them a bone (At least with small businesses. if its a chain then it may be different). He's a business man and needs to make sales to make money... if you don't let him sell it to you... you may get half *** work and a higher cost/hr labor

I've actually witnessed this in the past on other cars at different places. they'll take a lot more pride in the work if they're installing THEIR stuff. just my $.02
