Default ????????? Tire sizes quattro????

From what ive read awd is supposed to have the same rim and tire sizes all the way around for best performance... I wanted to go with a 255x35x18 tire in the rear total circumfrence is 1997.11 and a 225x40x18 in the front....total is 2001.82 difference of 4.71mm this is the closest combo i could come upwith i tried all the sizes. Is thise close enough not to cuase damage? Or what would happen? if not im going to go 245x35's all the way around.... I just wanted the aggresive look of smaller in front and wide in back

Keep them within 5% difference front to rear and you'll be fine. 4.71 mm is well within that.

You know if you go different sizes & the tires are unidirectional you won't be able to ever rotate them? You're going to go through tires a lot faster that way.

Well most performance tires r unidirectional now...so id have the same problem even if they were all the same size...BUt its already to late i just got them put on..... i will post pics soon.... The rims r 25 pounds each so im not sure what the stock ones r... BUt the stock tires i know now were SOOO noisy car runs much quiter now.... 225x40's 255x35's rear with +35 spacing i STill had to put a spacer AND shave the caliper down a little for clearance in the rear

Well sure, you could take the tires off & swap them, but you've got all the charges associated with that including dismount / mount / balance, plus the time involved (!). You're looking at probably $60 minimum every time you do this, right?
