I have an APR chip for my TT which has the 93 program. I'm thinking that I should go with a different company, I feel like im not getting good power out of it compared to the other companies. Any thoughts?

Stick with the APR chip it is better, doesn't trip engine lights, and has better throttle response. The solution is not to go out and waste money on another chip to gain an extra couple of horspower that might not run as well. A better idea would be to keep you APR chip and add some additional bolton performance parts such as an exhaust, intake, or intercooler.

 

Right now I have the forged FMIC, samco turbo inlet, apr chip, 3" dp, intake. I dont know what else I can do with the car?

 

all chips are ~ the same. you may get 5 more hp with one than the other, but thats about it.

 

Get the APR 100 Octane program, and go empty your wallet on that $7 gas.

???? I have GIAC and have never thrown a code... and i will put it up against apr any day.. The difference.. APR makes programs....turbo kits....parts....exhausts.....inatakes...guages.. GIAC does programing thats it.. Id trust my car to giac before i would APR. Unfortunately giac doesnt make a BT tujne for my non vvt motor

 

just becuase apr has all these other products doesnt mean they have a lesser tune. They are the best tuners in the game, ask anyone that has a stage 3(+) what they think of there tune. Also, apr doesnt sell products unless they are top notch and sell for high $$$. Its who they are. But stock tuning to stock tuning, you arent going to have that big of a differnce. Should all run ~ the same 1/4 with equal mods.

 

True but GIAC does the "Del Rio Big" Turbo Tune, both companies are about the same they know their stuff. I would feel comfortable with my TT in either of their hands. Here and idea:
