Default Transimission having trouble!! Help!!

My 2000 5 speed TT has trouble going into reverse, 1st and 2nd gear. 3rd, 4th, and 5th are some what smooth but R,1,2 are grinding or have to force into gear. I let my car sit for a couple of months and now this problem. Anyone have any suggestions. I did a transmission fluid flush and it is still doing it. Any help would be appreciated.

I was having that issue after letting my car sit for a few weeks in the summer as well. I still have problems with third but I used the alignment tool to re adjust the linkages on the tranny and it worked. It took 5 mins but saved so much headache

It will drive fine for the first 15-20 minutes but then it will start getting even more difficult to put into gear. It starts with 1st and 2nd gear getting harder to put into gear and then 3rd, and then 4th and 5th are just a little more difficult but not as bad as first and second. Anyone know possibly why that is?

The clutch seems to be going bad I am sure. When I accelerate on the highway the rpm's jump and I dont go anywhere. I am just starting to wonder if this would be causing the transmission to get stuck. Anyone know?
