Default New guy with some trouble

Already searched multiple times and still cannot figure out this cooling system problem. Long story short...ran something over, knocked out the coolant temp sensor which leaked coolant everywhere. Replaced sensor & o-ring, filled with coolant (held res up and filled with bleed screw open)

Engine does not overheat, but I have no heat in the cabin. Water pump is new, radiator is new, t-stat is functioning (hot hose test)

Bled HC from little hole on top hose (very messy) for 30-40 min. Lots of air/steam but no solid stream of coolant.

Removed lower hose from heater core and it got hot (like coolant was circulating) Put hose back on and no flow. Where does the lower heater hose connect? Appreciate any and all help. TIA

ETA: Heat worked fine before the sensor got knocked out
