putting a 6 speed in is not difficult, direct bolt on plus new starter. you also have to change flywheel and clutch obviously.

 

sorry to bring up an old thread again.. so all I would need to do to swap my 5spd quattro tranny with a 6spd, is to change clutch/flywheel and starter? Sounds easier than acutally is I know, but is that all it would take for me, since Im already Quattro? Thanks for the input
