Default TT 7" flip out DVD

Does anyone know if a regular 7" LCD dvd flip out screen will work on a TT, and still have a good anlge to see the screen? Or will i have to pull the unit out far enough to have a good angle , but the TT cover will not shut?

I Know if you buy one of the Kenwood KVT series DVD's that pull out then flip up work. I just dont want to spend $900 on one.

I have a 7 1/2" screen and it had to be moved forward for a good angle. It won't let me shut the tt cover either

Normally you put the screen back in to shut the lid.

kenwood kvt is your only option to keep it so you can have the flap close...

if you dont wanna spend 7-800 why bother? thats what its going to cost reguardless
