tt q7 grill dyi info and prices.
well, its seems that this vs with the Q7 grill worked out nice. it was rather easy to do. i thought trying to mate up a q7 grill onto the stock bumper would be a real pain, but it wasn't. looking at some of my old scrap bumper, the q7 grill would have been even easyier to install if i didn't have a damaged bumper. the top most widest part of the grill, is just slightly larger, by 1/4 inch then the stock grill . stencil the grill on the bumper, tape the lines, two quick cuts, a very very small amount of body filler, some sanding and a liitle paint and thats it. 190 for grill, 20 for filler, 10 for sand paper, 5 for tape, and "

sure, i will take some today. looking at your car above, you have the candian style front bumper, you might have a easier time doing this, because your bumper sticks out a little. but just rember, i had a larger gap in the bumper then what is nessary, i had to do a lot more filling then if i had started off with a normal bumper. oh, one more thing, i got match paint at napa mixed for 20 dollars including the reducers, no clear coat required, and a mini spray bottle for the paint was 5 dollars. it worked pretty nice. its not perfect, but pretty close.
oh yea forgot bout the nasty CDN bumpers.
what do you mean it will help me out. the bumber peice is just glued and clipped onto the US bumper. if i do this i will just have the whole frotn bumper repainted. cant be bothered with partial colormatch. but ... can you list a parts list for the things that you had to get and also can you specify the areas that gave you the biggest problem.
you said you had to shave/cut the bumper to fit the grill?
