Any tall drivers that can tell me their experience with owning and driving a TT? I am considering the purchase of a 2004 or 2005 Audi TT Coupe and there seems to be enough room for me even though I'm about 6' 3". Thanks for any suggestions.

 

haha 6,3 good luck I'm 5,11 and i've driven a bus load of TT's beutiful car to drive but if I was 5,10 or shorter it would be perfect

 

Head over to the dealer and test drive one already!

 

I tested a 2000 TT Quattro a few weeks ago. I'm 6'5". The car was great and I loved it. I also had plenty of headroom. When you test the car, adjust the steering wheel and the seat to your liking. Get the dealer to show you how. You'll be suprised how it fits a tall person--I had the same concern.

Thanks for the info. As it turned out, I bought a 2004 225Q about a month ago. There is plenty of room for us taller people. I love this car!

I am 6'4", if you adjust the seat all the way down in height, I have a couple inches (at least) above my head. And I like the seat back to be rather straight. In other words, us tall people fit in them just fine. Mine is a coupe BTW.

 

Yup, I am a 6'3" and the TT is one of the Best Leg and Headroom Sportscars I have ever sat in.
Tons of headroom and legroom. Not sure about the guy that said he is 5'11" and didn't have enough room.
He must have a 40 inseam with a 2 inch torso

Now the Crysler Crossfire and the Honda S-2000 are the worst cars I have ever sat in as far as leg room goes.

 

6'3" dude u say u fit fine haha go for a 2 hour drive and let me know how your neck feels after that no offence or anything but all the customer I have that drive say that is there biggest compliant

Seriously you are the first person that complained about the Head and legroom of the Audi TT.
Even my brother that is an inch taller than me had no trouble fitting in the car.
Are you sure your seat is adjusted properly? I had to move mine all the way down and pretty much back but
I am in a more upright seating position than on my Mustang and feel more comfortable in it than in my Stang.
Heck, I sat in a Hummer before and I didn't feel as comfortable in it.
Overall I am pretty happy with the fit of the TT.
I will let you know how my little trip to Kentucky goes this weekend. Getting my Revo Tune and it's 100 miles
southeast....
