Default TT in the snow?....

Just wondering what people think of the TT in the snow? I'm over in Seattle and we have over 1ft of snow in the past 5 hours and its getting worse! My expedition is fitted with heavy duty snow tires (studded) and we couldn't get anywhere near work! haha.... The TT has just had some Blizzaks put on it so its very grippy, also has some snow cables with it...

Before i go out venturing and end up in a Stephen King 'Misery' scenario i just wanted to check with you boys! haha

I wouldn't suggest doing any drift busting. They do about as well in the snow as your average car. Deep snow you wont get anywhere...

thanks, it did pretty well in the local roads, but the snow is just too deep so the bumper acts like a snow plow! haha...

i think a nice day or two holed up at home with the ps3 are in order ;o)

If your TT is AWD I wouldnt worry to much there like rally cars in the snow. You just have to remember that steering and braking go to **** no tires are going to solve that.

My car plows over the 2 feet of snow plowed up against it on the side of the street with no problem whereas my rwd work truck has major problems. A TT with snow tires can pretty much handle most things.

yeah, all depends on what EXACTLY you have for conditions. I've blasted across the lawn with snow blasting up the hood and right over the car, but also high centered in the same yard with only 5" on the ground.

AWD FTW though. The private drive to my apartment is plowed but not sanded... its real slick. I steer more with the throttle/brake than I do with the wheel, looks like a slow-mo rallycross (try to go slow, landlord bitches otherwise)

I feel extremely confident in my 225... if I had a set of actual snow tires instead of all seasons it would be perfect

plus turning off ESP = lots-o-fun

On summer tires it sucks ***. On snows, it will conquer all (except depth, of course). 4 Rooster tails is FUN!
