Ya, the MR Evo's are really nice. I was trying to decide between the an Evo and a TT when I went shopping for a car last. I ended up with a TT just because I wanted something comfortable. The Evo's ride really rough stock. They have a great driving feel to them they really react to any input that the driver put's in to it. I just needed some comfort after riding around in a lowered 3g eclipse for a year. Heated seat's and leather FTW!!!

 

i still don't know if i'm doing the trade. most likely not tho. i think i'm keeping the TT I'm looking to upgrade the rods and i'm def doing the timing and waterpump again just to make sure. then i'm gonna do big turbo. i'm just worried cus what is next to go??? i mean i really to beat my car everyday and it hasn't given me any problems. as far as the evo's they are fast and cheap to hook up but i know 3 friends that have nutthin but problems with them. they can't take a beating. but if i do get rid of it i'll let you guys know about the exhaust and all.

 

Did you overheat your car? The VW/Audi 1.8T is a pretty tough engine. I haven't heard of a lot of blown head gaskets on these cars.

 

i haven't overheated the car. it hit 120 being two notices over toward hot. everymorning i had to add antifreeze it was just disappearing. well it is just disapearing i just haven't driven the car in over a week becasue i have to come up with like 1500 to do head and water and timing belt i also want to do rods so i may just ride this out for like 2 months. i have a beater so it's what ever. i really don't know for sure that it is the head gasket cus i only had one shop look and it. the guy said that the antifreeze isn't goin anywhere so it's prob mixing with the oil and on top of that there is no exhaust stuff like i thought if the head gasket was on it's way out the car would be blowing white smoke out the tailpipes? besides that the car has always ran a lil hotter then it should like at a light my cars temp goes up one notice even in the winter. i really don't know for sure if it's the head i'm goin but what the guy told me. can it be somthing else. i also noticed that the fans don't come on when they should i least i think they don't. like they come on when the car is already running kinda hot. i also put a termasate that opens at a cooler temp but that did nutthin. i think that is the fans. what you think?

 

Wintermutesorry i have a dark green with tint. looks pretty stock but i have the blueflame exhaust and the blacked out side markers. i love this car tho the 6 looks to old for me. my car is sexi and it's an 02 and people still ask me "what type of car is that?"> NOOBS!!! lol

 

Do you have a custom NYS plate, if so you've seen me at least once.

I was behind you once on 211 you were pulling in a gas station& I was taking the long way to best buy. Before that I've seen you in my b6 wagon. Like couple weeks ago. I'm the only guy with a red le mans in OC & I'm normally in middletown since my bank is HVFCU. If ya ever see me gimmie a wave and I'll come find ya if I'm not in a busy.

 

yea i thought i was the only guy with the green tt but there is one more and i'm friends with him now. he has no mods tho but we have rolled together as twin tt's blow by everyone always points. lol. i def will try to wave you down. eventho my car is out of comission. it keeps getin a fever so i have to do some surgery on her to make her all better. i'm hopein next month i may do rods too so i can go big turbo. i want a gt30R so i should push like 450hp.
