Default TT vs z4 vs anothers... if you could do it over again?

if you could go back and do things all over again at the time you were in the market for a nice sporty car..

would you go TT again or something different? a z4? Boxter? anything?

whats your choice and why (besides known bias)

just curious what everyone thinks

the car i was gonna get before the TT was a black Z3 coupe 3.0 hardtop.
i still love the styling of those, and it was an awesome car performance-wise.
however i owned two BMWs before and i know how they can be in the snow and rain (aka the WORST).
so anyway the 3.0 i wanted sold before i could close the deal and i went back to looking at TTs.
i love my tt and do not regret that decision AT ALL. =)

I too tried a lot of cars before I went with my 2008 TT.

Loved the BMW335 for performance, hated it for interior and exterior. (Though that grew on me, but I still feel it's so plain...interior..still yuck!)
Loved the Cayman....sweet car for performance...but a bit too exotic for a daily driver type car...I know myself...just can't bring myself to drive a car that is not my nicest car.

For me, the overall package of amazing style, great drivability and fun, incredible interior and...the best part for me...the fact that Audi has only sold about 60 2007 and later TTs in Taiwan....give it the pizzaz I wanted at the price I wanted to pay.

LOVE the car....getting the ABT software flash next week...and thinking about customizing my leather interior....and then it should be bliss!

We looked and researched for 4 months before getting a TT. I would do it again in a heartbeat. By the way, finally no more worrying: Got timing belt, H2O pump, idlers, pulleys, thermostst and all the other related goodies done yesterday. Gonna be a great weekend.

I would stick with the TT for a practical daily driver.

But a '70 MAch 1 is still out there waiting for me - I need some Detroit muscle
