Can anybody tell me what that vent looking thing is for on the interior of the TT right behind/infront of the lights on the top of the car?

oh....i think i know what your talking about! in the roof? I dont know what that is, maybe for the temp inside or something?

ok... took like 5 minutes to figure out what the hell you were talking about.

for future reference, they're called map lights...

the 'vent' houses the motion sensor.

oh...u serisous..thier da motion sensors for the alarm. u think it could b relocated?

probably not, where would you put them? It kinda needs to be able to 'see' the whole interior.

no the vent thing your talking about is the microphone for the handsfree installed in the car! found it while looking at stuff in my bentley repair cd manual
