ahhh cool, a little more expensive but still relatively cheap!

on a side note, i have just paid for and ordered a Modshack vent ring, low profile hood rubber seal, and a new VTDA! woohoo... let the games begin..

on a negative, my wife has had the car for the weekend and picked up her first speeding ticket today! haha... is this a sign to come? lol

haha oh those speeding tickets... dont get me started lol...

anywho, that vtda... yea... kinda late to say it i guess but if i could do it all over again id get something different... on a lighter note, i suggest you take off the can and just run the cone filter... less restrictive

now you tell me! haha... well im not a bhp number chaser, im just after some less restrictive air flow and some nice induction noise with the added heat protection offered by the design. I have checked out loads of others and came to the conclusion that this was the one to go for, besides it looks very well made and not mass produced like a lot of the other cheaper products.... but this one has some cosmetic issues in the finish but is brand new... so im getting it at a rather tasty price! hehe.......

i'll take note of the removal of the heat shield, may be beneficial in winter!

There is still airflow where the filter is so when you are moving and need cooler air, it will only be a handful of *'s above the outside air. Now you have a can restricting a good portion of the filters breathing space.

i can see your point, but at least now i can have the choice whether to run it enclosed or open, so i have the luxury of changing it should i so desire ;o)

purple = n75
green = hidden hose behind n75
blue = top hose off n75

EDIT!!
yellow = goes to green
red = goes to blue

the red and yellow may be switched though, i cant remember... if your running low boost after install then just switch it around...

cincy hopefully will chime in and straighten it out for me haha

your mbc is hooked up right, your colors for the swapping arent. Simply put, charge piping hose to n75 goes to the nipple opposite of the brass/hex fitting and the nipple opposite of the turning head goes to the wastegate.
