Default TurboXs HPBC - Easy to install?

So I ordered the High Perf Boost Controller from Turbo XS. Neat little item. I looked over all the instruction for install and tuning. Most of it seems pretty straight forward and easy to do. Those of you that have a MBC and have installed it - Is it pretty straight forward and easy to do? Im debating whether I should give it a shot or just have the tuner shop do it for me.

Takes less than 5 min to install and took me about 10mins of driving to tune it. Just follow the setup before install and then just pull the vac lines off the n75 and install them on the hpbc. Drive, tune, drive, tune. When you have it set, your done.

Now when tuning what will I be looking for on the boost gauge? Im still stock ECU so 7-9lbs under pedal mashing. What will I be looking for when tuning it and if its tuned right (Sorry for so many questions on this but I've never tuned anything for a turbo car or had this item on any vehicle) All 100% new to me hehe.

why did you buy a hpbc when your ecu is stock? That does you no good you need a chip tune or a diode to be able to do anything with the hpbc
If you want to attemp the diode mod in cincys sig to turn the boost up pm me your address and paypal me a dollar ill send you a couple diodes i have 100 that i dont need...

You should be running 11psi stock. If your not seeing that, you might have a boost leak or more likely a bad dv. But if you plan on installing it right away, the max you can boost is 1bar. So keep it at 13psi tops so you dont hit limp

Ah I forgot to mention I bought AchTTungs ECU which has APR's 93/100 program on it. Soo stock for now, im just asking questions now so once I get his ECU I can plug/play and tune in one shot.

The OEM Ecu spikes upto 11psi but never stays there. It drops down to 8-9sih but never steady at 11psi. Unless im on the thruway in 5th gear and whomp on it. Then it climbs to 11 then stays at 11. The current ECU is on its way out though...I just went to the post office and it's 51ºF out right now, started fine but as soon as I hit the road in 1st it would boost, no boost, boost no boost, and buck like crazy. So I know thats making things a mess. I hope the DV isnt bad it's only a few months old from AWEtuning. But, Still it could be on the fritz.

Once I get Achtt's ECU in everything should stabalize. If not, iunno hehe. Been chasing leads ever since I got this car.

Well the turbo doesnt hold boost worth a damn. If you do hit 11psi, you should be fine
