I want to get a VAG COM because my car gets into little minor electrical problems etc so that I dont have to take it to the shop everytime. VAG COM, which is the best and i just need to buy the software and the USB thing that connects to the car right?

 

I want to know the answer to this as well. Anybody?

Any of our USB Interfaces EXCEPT the Micro-CAN should work fine with your vehicle and PC. The HEX-USB+CAN would be the best choice to work on not only your TT but also the latest vehicles that use CAN-Bus diagnostics as explained here:

The KEY-USB would be the most cost-effective choice for working on your TT but would not be compatible with vehicles that use CAN-Bus diagnostics.

Use the Key USB or Serialdepending on if your computer has either a USB or a Serial port. If you have both go with a USB port one.

No you just download the software from the page. All you have to buy is the cable thats it.
