How much differentare the 180 and 225 intake manifolds? for instance... could a 180 manifold be machined and bored out real nice and work as an Upgrade once bored out for higher flow on a 225?

 

Yes they can alot of people port and polish the intake manifolds on TT both the 180 and the 225

the 180 manifold has the throttle body on the passenger side of the car. the 225 has the throttle body on the drivers side.
