Chip it chip it chip it, I have 180 quattro TT as well and bearly beat a modded neon, The K03 turbo is so small and running stock only 7lbs of pressure is no fun. I haven't chipped mine yet but am putting an order for one soon as spring is just around the corner. Take a look at the atp turbo virtual exhaust system before you order the borla, i think it might interest you... http://www.atpturbo.com/root/releases/release091004.htm

Yah i know i need to chip it.
I don't feeling like getting stomped by Auto V6 mustangs and Neons.
that would not be cool.

I dont know enough about turbos but it sounds like i need to get a larger turbo.
I'm guessing my current turbo can't boost much higher then it is right now?

Thanks for the link i'll take a look at it.

And i know the Audi is more of a classy car then a drag racers. But i would at least like to know i can smash most cheap rice out there that has minor mods.

WOW that thing is awesome in that link i wonder how well it works. it's a very cool idea to keep the car sounding nice untill you need the hig flow exhuast.

Price isn't too bad at all.

I have a 180 FWD TT with GIAC chip 2.5 borla exhaust and downpipe, TTDA CAI, bailey diverter, bigger MAF (****), and 4 bar fpr and I have to say it moves pretty good. I hit 60 mph in 2nd gear and that is the best gear on the car pully hard. Just waiting for my highflow exhaust mani and samco turbo inlet hose and GT2X then I will be kicking some major ***. I think Im lookimg at 210-220 whp right now and hoping for 270 whp with the other stuff.

I bought the MAF from Modshack.info. They call it a **** and said I would need a 4 bar fpr too. But I have gone with and without the 4 bar FPR and it works either way. I did see a big difference in lag in 1st gear, meaning there is none now. Before I would pickup then it would lag then pickup again. Now it just picks up and goes. You are able to use the same senor you use now. The 225 MAF would work too and you could probably find one used for less money.

thanks, alot of places reccommend the 4bar FPR when you are running higher boost levels than stock. Also to upgrade your spark plugs. I have a neuspeed p-flow intake and definitly making plans to buy the 4 bar fps, bigger maf, spark plugs, along with a chip. Ill be saving my money for the gt2871r eliminator kit when im out of school and working full time.
