guys give him a break, he is trying to help some ppl out. And also this would come in handy for someone looking to buy a new car. The vin is already posted online so it wouldn't hurt a thing.

if you look under his post history, its obviously not spam, if he has been asking questions about fog build up inside his car, and where to get a certain b5 part. Someone spend the 2 bucks and test it on a dealer car lol.

Just seems a little strange. I consider that to be personal and somewhat sensitive information. I would rather my car vin not be involved in some kind of scam. Any information that can lead to you, is considered sensitive info.

id never give out my vin unless for sale, thats where i was goin with it... oh well, is awkward

I realize he has legit posts but he cross posted it accross a ton of different forums and his post sounds like he's whoring out the company too:

AutoCheck is the SAME as CarFax but a little less expensive, its run by Experian- you know, the credit report people...
ive already checked like 7 VINs including my B5 A4, this is AWESOME!

Im sure your vin# isnt as sensative as most of you seem to think it is, if it was would it really be in open site on the front window you guys act like he asked for your ssn, cc#, and your first pets name
