So, as you guys mightve read in an earlier post, I f'd my front bumper cover in a big way. A guy on votex was selling a lakesilver bumper with a votex lip, both were damaged, but seemed better than mine in pics. Short story, bumper is worse, votex wasnt glued on so I just unsnapped it and turned the four screws into see how it looks on my car. It covers up the damage great, though dont look under the car :-P Obviously from these pics you can tell I need to do some fitting still, but I think it will look good, especially after I do the headlight mods later this week hopefully. And yeah, it would look better without the plate, the bumper came with that insert without any holes/plate so I will likely snap that in until I get a ticket :-P

Looks great mike! Can't tell from here that anything happened to it. Are you ditching the bumper the guy sold you?

 

I will post pics up, Id like to get a little something for it, I have the stock grille for it too. Alternatively, I was thinking of cutting off the lower section (essentially what the votex covers, and get that plastic welded to the upper portion, I have no idea if thats feasible [8D]

 

If you can find/buy the equipment, I can plastic weld.

 

Yeah I will look into it , but probablly a backburner project, I need to run to hardware store at some point and get a few of those button screws, bothj for the front and for the wheel well, one or two dont have much bite. I am sure Ill have more oppurtunity to play with it all when the bumper comes off for those headlights :-P
