Hi folks, new to audi forum. A general question for your collective experiences. Hope to purchase a 2011 TT after the Detroit auto show. I only have a VW gti to benchmark performance to and no one I have spoken to seems to be in a position of having driven the VW (200 hp but lighter than the TT) to the heavier but 211 hp base TT. Is the S line option worthwhile ? Thanks for any thoughts. Regards to all.

 

Quit ***'n around and get on the list for a TTRS. I think that's the only way I'd buy a new one. I'm not certain, but I believe the "S" model line on the TT is just a trim package and has nothing to do with performance. TTRS! Step your game up, and you'll never have to wonder if it was worth it.

I thought new TTS has 265 hp from a H.O 2.0 direct inject turbo
The TTRS has 365 from a 2.5




I apologize if i'm wrong, but I don't think I am. If thats the case and extra 55 horsepower would be well worth it!

That 2.5t engine is supposed to be the cats pajamas. The (RS) should stand for "Real ****". I would sell your nuts for that car.
