warning light for convertible
bought a 2003 TT. First day I lowered the top after a lil while I put it back up, now the warning light indicating it isn't properly closed is on and wont go off. I went through several cycles, and its still on. How do I reset this light?? The top is 100% secure in the up position. Any help would be appreciated

It's the sensor and latch relationship.
I had used a shim of aluminum foil...but I found this. We are talking about the central latch over the windshield.
" I just took a piece of thin plastic (from the top of a plastic container) cut in a strip, put a dab of adhesive on it and glued it on the switch. The effect of this is when you twist the top locking handle, the metal hook that contacts the switch contacts the piece of plastic (about .040 thick), the switch works great now.
I could not see a way to adjust the switch, but then I was in a hurry to fix it and didn't take time to analyize it much."
