I am not very familiar with the TT's. I've beenlooking to purchase one for about2 months. Finally I came across one I likeon eBay and I was wondering if you guys think it's a good deal and aslo ifthe setup is alright. Not really familiar with GIAC software. too good to be true and more investigation required ( full service history for that price ) and if it were in the UK it would have to have an AA check I also note the front bumpers is a different shade of silver which means damage

 

Man that is a nice looking car. If it comes back clean on the Carfax and he has the service records to back it up I'd go for it. That is a sweet looking car. I wish I had the silver. I love silver cars.

 

I did run a Carfax and Autocheck report, both came out clean. I already had an inspector through eBay go and look at the car. The full report will be up tomorrow, but when I spoke to him todayhe said the car is mint, no dents, scratches or paint work. He recommend that I buy it for that price. He also told me the guy that's selling it has a brand new M6 in the driveway, which is the reason why he's selling the TT.

How does GIAC compare to APR? I mostly hear about people going with APR.

I went with GIAC! Love it, I really dont think it matters what company you go thru just as long as you use the top three. GIAC, REVO, and APR.

 

I did some reading up on previous posts. I guess GIAC are the most aggressive chips. I put in my offer on the car. Hopefully he will accept so I can join you guys as a TT owner...

 

That looks like a solid TT and that price makes sense. APR software is usually complained about as being weak and GIAC I've heard is pretty aggressive.

Yes, after doing research all night. I would have gone with GIAC even if it didn't have it.
