OK, so I went to Jiffy Lube (don't flame... I stood right there with the guys, it was alright). I pull in with my 02 blue 180 TT... And then moments later, some other young guy pulls in with his 02 blue 180 TT... I have not seen many TTs in my area, nor had he, and we both sat there and talked about our cars for a while as the jiffy dudes did their thing.

Alright, in retrospect it's probably not worth a new post, and I have no idea what kind of comments, if any, would be appropriate for reply to this... but hey! Just thought I'd tell

Hey atleast the other TT owner was cool.
There's another silver 180 TT coupe in my area, and whenever I pass him and wave he looks at me like I have 10 heads!

Haha, nice! Hey, btw.. I noticed that your sig file resampled wrong (stretched) when you made it... Send me a picture that you want on there and I'll re-make it for you, if you'd like (spare-time graphic artist).

Thats really cool actully. In Sioux Falls,...I'm under the impression I am the only owner of a Blue Audi TT. The dealership states that there are maybe 10 TT's in my whole city....atleast that they work on....

So it is a " rare car " ...where i live (160,000 people) ....so when I see another TT... I do waive...most times though...its a old lady driving

Heh well I don't live in Sioux Falls, and I most certainly am not an old lady! [:-]

Thanks racer! The problem is I need better pictures, maybe I'll get to that today.

Yeah, the odds are high, mate - in my town I only see 1 of the 2 other TT's here in town and she acts stuck up. [:'(] lol... Most of the ones I see are passing their way through to the Los Angeles area...

I live in a small town and there are maybe 5 TT's other than mine, when I see one I always wave and they always wave back... except for the rather attractive woman who drives a 3.2 [:-]

Yea there are two here where I live a 180 that some rich kid ownes and tried to put a BOV on it, then came to me and asked me why it ran like ****, then a mid aged woman that drives a 225tt that she babies, man would i love to get my hands on that engine, it will run forever!!. But its wierd being 22 and having a wife that is 19 when we go to the dealership they just look at us like..... WTF they own a Audi, but when my wife starts here "audi talk" cause i make sure she knows her stuff, they give her the respect that she is granted. The mec. even told here she should go to school since she knew most of the stuff anyways. LOL

actually, if an engine is babied, it'll have its own set of problems. If its broke in easy, it'll never make the power it could.

You gotta rev em up to get those rings seated, and occasionally flog it good to knock those deposits out of the cylinders. : )
