So i got my tax refund and it was a very nice amount. so i decided i would spend it all on car parts. how fun. Im a at 1200 worth of parts. All labour will be done by myself. I have a 2000 TTQC with APR software and a Forge DV. What i have ordered is below

I im probally getting the Boost Factory Upgraded Smic next followed by the Blueflame exhuast off ebay. Where else should I look to increase Hp without taking away from reliablity and driveablity?

 

Is it a 180 or 225?

If it's a 225 do the 42Draft Downpipe along with that blueflame and you'll love life

 

no its only a 180 hp version. Kinda sucks though but the chip makes the car much more enjoyable

 

Do the Modshack Stg III upgrade, all of the parts and it will make a huge difference for you especially with the chip done already. Also, a Boost Guage is a MUST have. Other than that, sounds like you are well on your way

 

Dont let becca see that you got a the cluster gauges.

Other perfomace parts you can add is getting a dp made and adding water/meth injection. Both will make a rather large increase (~20+hp) over what you currently have. Both will make it faster without taking away from its drivablity.

Negative. I live in Canada and I have never been interested in the radar dectetors. I am defintaly going to take some pictures but everything I am going to install already has a write up. I am worried about the Stg 3 Modshack stuff as I don't want the DV to be soo loud. Also I don't think i would like to run front feeds. I might get an upgraded filter, but Im am still sceptical to replace the airbox then add a tottaly differnet Maf and FPR + trying to tune the Boost machine <---NOT FOR ME. I think those parts would do the most damage, if any aftermarket part would be harmful to the 1.8T

 

I just want to see how wonderful it looks.
