She had extras!

Bought a set, and found a box with centercaps with one of her rims. Think it was mentioned earlier in this thread. Now we need to get her to waste some of that returned money on other mods.

 

$168.01 left for new mods... By the way won't be getting my tire until tuesday!
I have to call them and make sure they get me the same BBS stem valve.


...What? I just got the blasted things, I'll be damned if the job is not done correctly.

 

Just got my new tire mounted.
I went in there and asked if they still had my old tire with the BBS valve stem.
Dood kinda looked at me funny. I told him I wouldn't accept a black one, considering that's not how I brought my car to him.
He told me if they couldn't find it that they'd have to buy one. Guess what, they found it! YAY! Could my luck be turning around?
Better not push it....
So the guy who slashed my tire to begin with was mounting the new one.
He finished up handed my the center cap key and TT key. Then said "Alright you're good to go, sorry about that!"
I nodded and proceeded to walk to the check out counter. He told me to have a nice night. To which I replied "Well I still need to pay."

Brace yourselves...

He said "No you don't, we made a mistake. There is no charge."
I grinned and proceeded to checked out my new properly mounted Michelin Pilot Sport with BBS stem valve.

So it seems my luck may be headed towards the good side! And now I have the full $208.00 for a new mod! 2 x YAY!

Congrats on getting a new tire and not having to pay. Also, congrats on post # 2000. With $208 you can get a rear sway bar, window tint, or 4 tanks of gas. So what's next?

Downpipe when some are available for the 180Q's. I had one exhaust shop I visited, that fabs everything exhaust for all cars.. but didn't want to fab me up a DP. $208, just used it towards tires next time around. F@ck, I wanna get me some new BBS' now.
