^^^ i sold the forge and now run the R1 as my sig says
How do you like the R1? Is it a lot better than the Forge? I am thinking of selling the forge 007p and getting either a
Forge Splitter or the APR R1. The APR is a diaphram valve which responds a lot faster than piston types but they tend to
rupture. I had a Forge Race DV which was a diaphram valve as well and it was great as long as the diaphram lasted.
The APR isn't even servicable. But I guess they do have a good warranty.

Hey Cincy,

What do you think the best setting would be for the Forge 007p? I have the Revo Tune along with the 42DD DP and blueflame Exhaust, **** and Boostmachine. I have the yellow Spring in there now but I think it still isn't holding the boost as it should. I get a lot of shhhhing sounds
when I accellerate and in 6th gear it just all out give up on me at WOT. So should I switch to
the weaker green spring or the blue spring. Not sure if I need less spring pressure or more
spring pressure. Also what type of grease should I use to reoil the DV?
Sorry for the Hyjack.

Where did you get your wheel well liner from? My driver side came undone on the highway and rubbed against the tire till nothing was left.

Yellow spring and you may need one of the shims. You can use any high temp grease for the dv

i got the inner liner from the dealer...it was around 60 bucks....AND YES THE R1 is able to be serviced by yourself...the way they come from APR can handle up to 35psi no problem...(coming from Gregg that runs the stage 3+ on his 225) and they are lifetime...and yes i could tell its a lot faster at dumping the pressure and holding it at a faster rate....APR makes good stuff
