what cars could i beat, theoretically of course.
i was just wondering of the cars i would consider racing (g35, 350z, evo, wrx, s2000, etc... not minivans, dump trucks, or pt cruisers)if the time arose which ones would i be able to beat ifdriver ability were not afactor. i guess the level of modificationon theopposing car would be an issue, so i'llsay stock or light mods (intake & exhaust)for a baseline. i've never raced my car so i'm just trying to get and idea ofwhat it would be capable of.
i know it's a dumb question and i do however appreciate the humor whichwas much need this morning at work. smarta$$es....

I heard chipped TT's can take a G35 ,a Z and an Mustang GT.
I'm not really convinced though. i mean, Z's run high 13's stock!
a 225 TT gets mid to low 15's i thought?
you could defenately take any V6 mustang. civics should be in that league too. eclipses definately, base boxsters (227Hp version) maybe...

Pretty simple actually.
If your a on paper kind of guy you would be just slightly faster than a 225 stock right now, I would say your low 14's with decent driving skills and if your a crazy good driver maybe 13's. To put that in perspective I've been competitive in drag racing since I was about 18, and my best time on my STOCK 02 Mustang GT was a 13.9, most average around 14.2-14.5 on a PI model, older 5.0's, don't even try unless you know it's stock, any modded stang, good luck. All F-Bodies, ie LT1 or LS1's will eat you alive, don't even try unless you like thier exhaust sounds. Evo's, STI's, and S2000's = you need more mod's
Pretty much all bolt on 4 bangers you can take but a civic with a Turb kit, sorry man. IF you take out and SRT-4, I can revisit some of these cars, but good luck with an SRT and don't ever try him from a roll. Bottom line, you can take most, if not all of these in the twisties, but good luck on the straights. Alot of these I've mentioned would come down to driver's race's, but if your asking the question of what you could "technically" beat, you pretty much tell me in that statement your not a Natural driver, so chalk it up to lack of experience

nice reply! that's some good info. how about with the k04, ****, and 4 bar fpr? would that close the gap a little with some of the evos, stis, and s2000s?

Almost all of the cars I've listed will get ate the first 100 feet by our cars in Quattro/Haldex config due to the launch, not the STI or Evo but the others. I'll be posting lots of drag racing and autocross to show you guys what a lauch looks like at differnent rpms etc
A modded 225 would be on par with some pretty quick cars and you will upset alot, a modded 180 the same but it'll be working hard. Carefully weigh your mods, throwing everything at your car and not complementing one mod with another will get you crap but alot of odd looks and high expectations of what you should get.
