When i'm at idle my boost gauge sits around 18hg vac.
When I turn on the AC it goes up to like 10hg vac.
Why is this?

What is "Climate Control Diagnostics"?

I've heard someone else mention somethng about readings for this on the LCD without VAG-COM or anything. Is there an entire troubleshooting/statistic reading measurement tool that I am completely oblivious to on my car?!

Hold the recirc button (looks like a curved arrow), and press the 'up' vent button (the other arrow, right side). Climate display should show 1C, use the temp adjust **** (left side) to switch up or down, 27C is for the tach. Hit the recirc button once your on the number you want, and it'll display it.

Is there a list somewhere of the degrees and what they display or is the Tach the only one?

Thats the ticket. I only run 27 to screw around, haven't actually diagnosed anything with the climate control.
