the dealer who gave the radio code for free... did you buy the car from them? i bought my car used, and was never given a radio code. my dealer wanted to charge me 60 for the code.

my battery already died once and it didnt need the code, but i guess it wasnt bad enough to kill it entirely.

is there any way to plug in one of those battery boosters into the cig lighter to keep some juice for the radio going? lol.

Honestly I'd just keep calling dealers til you find one that will just give it to you...$130 is nucking futs for a stupid code that takes 2mins to look up

yea I am not paying for a radio code to a car that i own not a chance. thank you everyone for the help im gonna take my car in to autozone so they can check it
turbott920 you right im not gonna replace stuff to fix a problem.

I've replaced alternators, batteries, fuel filter, turn the key to on and let the fuel pump come to pressure... sometimes have codes, sometimes don't have codes, I've had TWO different TT's.

I've had that cold start problem for as long as I've owned a TT. Eventually got used to it.

Only thing I've notice make a difference is how much gas I have in the tank. Dunno why that would matter if I let the fuel pump run for a second before I start it anyway...

holy christ i feel bad for you achttung sorry on your bad luck there I took it in today there is not codes whatsoever. I was told to clean the drive by wire system in the throttle body they said there could be build up in there. It appears to me that a lot of cars have his problem.

problem solved i must have put some **** gas in it. I went to a different gas station and they only had 91 i have always put 93 in from express. filled it up with usual gas no problems anymore. damn cars!
