Why is everyone always hating on the boxster?
That's a 2nd gen. You van tell by the triangular intakes rather than the rounded ones.

I honestly think the Boxster/Cayman platform has tons more potential than the 911 series. A Boxster S/Cayman S will actually beat the 911 Convertible/911 respectively on the 'ring despite the ~55 HP handicap.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the engine is in the right spot...
The Cayman also has more luggage space. No backseats tho.

IMO calling it the poor man's porsche is just a sorry excuse for denying its potential.

I was pretty damn certain it was a new revision to the boxster, but wasn't sure if it was a special edition with new factory some body effects added on.

pfft! that is totally a low profile slammed cayenne turbo! lol.

i agree, that the boxster has a lot of potential. Porsche engines are intense. i actually drove one for a week and it wasnt even a S. very fun at stock
