Good suggestion, but I don't think he'll get the above on his $1.5K-2K budget

i like that suggestion, preference on exhaust and fmic? or upgrade the smics?
i do have a little more now to spend than before

Realistically, I think you could get close to 285-290hp on a 225 with a chip, turboback, and FMIC, without the need for a BT.
