Looks like I blew out half the gasketbetween the flex section and the turbo. For those that have the 42DD dp (or any other):

Did you change to a better gasket? My downpipe has been on for around a month or so....now it's gotta' come out....crappy ****! Time to order up some Percy's Seal 4 Good metal gaskets!

 

I think Nate (cincy) preaches that you dont need these gaskets. could be wrong though.

Just clean the surfaces and run it without them. They blow and cause more damage than good. I run no turbo to man or man to dp.

 

Ahh thanks, nice to know. I have heard of others doing this as well. But to late I already put the new gasket in. We will see what happens. I got down there and found that the bolts had come loose...this in turn blowing half the gasket out.

 

Any small exhaust leak will toast them so make sure everything is snug. If you used new bolts, they will come loose again after a short time so you should retighten them after about a week

 

Yep you are correct....I've took herfor a few hard drives today and after each one got under the car and checkedeverything out from top to bottom. Everything is good so far but I will continue to check it periodically.The new gasket and hardware are holding up fine. I just mated up the Borla on Tuesday (FMIC on Sunday ) and now with the exhaust leak fixed it sounds awesome! I am pretty pleased!
