ORIGINAL: DurTTy

BTW APR sells you a bigger MAF Housing with their turbo kits along with a larger FPR. so by that token a larger **** is obviously needed to produce greater power.

APR and all sw tuners write the chips for bigger maf housings. It to allow more airflow for much larger turbos. A to small of a maf will create to many g/s, beyond what the ecu can handle. Also APR gives you a differnt fpr because for the stage 3 kits, they use 380cc 225 injectors instead of required 440cc injectors due to spray pattern.

well like i said, if you want to make more power you have to get a bigger MAF housing. So in essence if you get one now, you will be increasing the airflow into the turbo = more power [8D]

also any1 here know anywhere else other than TTstuff where i can buy me aSamco/Forgeintake hose ... damn im so frustrated all the places i have been checkign either they dont have the Quattro ATC one or they are overpricing it like @$$es

The fwd and awd ones are the same. There is no reason for them to be differnt.

Here, just get the eurojet one. And no, you dont need the adapter.

The AWD and the FWD are not the same, trust me ive done a lot of looking into the darn thing. they have hoses plugging into them at different locations. not 100% but there is a difference. the intake hoses are engine code specific. (why do they make the shopper's life harder? [:@])

the awp aww and so one with a ko3s, have a larger turbo inlet and smaller by-pass regulator inlet compared to the awd/atc hose.

If you see a hose that is for AWD, thats the 2000 vw inlet peice, and still the same and 2000 atc fwd/awd cars.

ok... the price is right BUT. they dont have any fitment options. they make it seem like one size fits all ... when it doesnt. or at least for the Forge Hoses
