I started the wheel bearing install for the front i did the rear like 6 months ago they where easy! The front is a PITA times 10 id rather do another clutch...The bentley isnt that helpful. Is there a DIY writeup somewhere? for a quattro I'd appreciate tips from people who have done them. Thanks

Damn there my problem how do i remove the hu without that puller i have a bearing puller but i cannot get the hub off?

I know I have a bad wheel bearing / s... How do I narrow it down to which one is bad, is there a quick check?

 

just replace both there 80 bucks for both from mjm and a bitch to do! i figured it out i gotta make a trip to lowes and build my own puller no way am a payingg 400 for the tool

 

that job does look like a huge PITA.

 

Took me 30 mins for the 2 front with the right tools

 

where did you get your puller?

 

why not go and rent the tools?
