Default Wheel opinion and lowering

alright a buddy of mine is selling some 19inch axis seven mod wheels... theyre not my favorite style but he only wants 350 for the set! Before i waste money on them and spend another 5-600 on tires i just wanna know if people think they will look nice

http://www.wheelsnext.com/default.cf...LOSS%20FINISH)

silver finish just like that on a black tt...

the other thing i know im going to lose performance from these... thats fine i have a set of lighter 17" wheels for the track so im fine there... but am i going to look like some swamp buggy going down the road? I'm pretty sure im going to have to lower it so i need options for that... then for tires if i get them 225/35 or 225/25? i keep seeing the two different options that people are using

thanks

These are in black but I think you get the idea that they look FUGGEN AWESOME!

Can't go wrong with Axis.

Bilstein PSS9's=bout $1000. Dunno how much Koni's or H&R's cost, I think it's about the same. You can get lowering springs but you'll need a camber correction kit and you'll only drop 1"-1.5".

You'll need a camber kit regardless if you use springs or coilovers to lower the car.
A good rule of thumb is anything under an inch and a quarter, use a half kmac, a drop larger than that would require a full kmac kit.

It's TTurboNegro's car off VWVortex. I think the black car+black rims with polished lip looks awesome.

doesn't it look like his tinted the reflectors rather than removing? i've been thinking about doing this.

Yeah it does. That would save you from having to bondo and paint. But you still have to take off the friggin bumper.

I've thought a lot about it:

Pull headlights apart
Pull reflector off
Pull Orange corner out

Paint housing glass black
Tint relfector
Tint corner

Replace corner.
Double side tape reflector back.

Close it up.

Think it would look good and much cheaper because no $75 on smoked corner.
