Wheel question
What do I need to know before I put some new rims on my 2000q? Can I simply order new wheels/tires and put them on? I have 17's and am looking to going up to 19's. What issues can come about? Thanks a lot.
Are you looking to increae the wheel width too?
Just beware of rubbing issues, which should be fine with 19's.
That said, in my personal pinion, 19's are overkill on an MKI.
I have 18x8 and find it to be an ideal wheel size for me. Looks good, Turn-in feels sharper, but the tire still has plenty of cushion to absorb bumps and holes, making it still comfortable enough for a 1000+ mile trip.
