when will it end?!
First, NGK's are $8-9/set
First thing i would do is go and get my $100 back for a **** poor diagnostic test. Then take it to the shop that did the TB install and tell them they didnt do it right and it has been making the noise and it is now worse. They only thing i can think of would be something to do with the pulley. There could be a loost bolt and you could be hearing it rattle, im not sure.

I found that for up to 12 bucks on the net...
About the shop - I didn't pay them 100 for the diagnostic this time, we just kinda stood around the parking lot while i picked up an oil filter and let them listen to the rattle. That's when they said it was the timing chain. I think they might be trying to rip me off again... I'll take it back to them to see if they stand behind their workconsidering they did my timing belt and at $100 an hour, i figured they'd do a good job. If they say fk-off, then I'll just have to find another shop. Shame though, because they came recommended. Audi stealership is askin $150/hr - screw that!

What's the diff between the two, I guess besides the price? I searched for spark plugs TT and those came up on a post from you and a few othersso I wrote it down and picked it up.
And I'm gonna look for another VWshop around here and see the labor costs... so far they're recommended but now, I'm starting to doubt that. I can't even consider an AUDI shop since I KNOW they'll ask +$100 for labor.

The BKR are coppers and the PFQ is stock. the PFQ's last longer but cost more over all. You just change the BKR's every other or 2 oil changes. You change them about 10-15k miles and still will cost less for the same time frame. Not to mention copper plugs work great on turbo cars.
