Default Where to get chipped..

Im new to this chipping thing.. i found some that i like, but i wanted to know.. Does anyone know any places around NC that can chip my car without sending the ECU away? Also I saw one place that said you can have a 5hour trial and then it will go back to normal.. I wanted to try this out sinse i think it would be nice to see first. I dont know if there is anywhere i can go..
thanks !

Revo and APr will give you trials. If you go to each companies websites, they will tell you where the dealers are

Beware:

Legend has it that after 5 hours you don't go back to stock tune.
Instead they have it switch to a tune that is less powerful than stock.

May be BS, but there have been cases where other companies had trouble flashing over the trial flash.

That was a Revostory that isnt true. ALso if you do get is trial, you will have the car flashed back to stock before a new chip can be installed

Stop being lazy and do something for yourself for once.

I just had my car chipped by InMotion. All I can say is WOW. It seems like a totally different car now. AND, it only cost $250.00

In-Motion Tuning

It took me about 1 hour to get the ECU out of my car, shipped it, and got it back 2 days later. It took about 10 minutes to put it back in.

Cincy- it was a joke.. ha ha laugh

Has anyone else heard of the InMotion chip? I see its $250 but all other chips are running 450-500.. so im lenient that its half the price, would love to hear from anyone else who might know about this brand, the price is right for me ! ha

It would be on the same level as nuespeed. Decent power, but not the most. Just chip local and be done with it

I have APR 93, but will be switching to Unitronic when I upgrade to a bigger turbo. My APR is sweet, but doesn't make as much power as GIAC or Uni, I have heard the GIAC X-file sucks as far as driveability in traffic etc. Get chipped from a local shop you trust and will establish a relationship with for future work, that is the most important thing I think.
